It is useful for a client proposal, workshop handout, product explainer, internal update or a first version of a pitch deck. It cannot supply evidence your business does not have, so check every number, example and claim before sharing.

A card is Gamma’s unit of content, which can work like a slide or a section. The maximum per prompt is a ceiling, not a reason to make a 100-slide presentation.

A smarter way to use this: find the part of your proposal that needs an explanation
A deck can look good and still leave the reader stuck. Gamma Pro’s analytics can help you investigate that instead of guessing.
- Build a short proposal with one decision per card: the problem, proposed approach, scope, evidence and next step.
- Share the Gamma presentation through the appropriate viewing permissions. Do not make confidential client material public just to get a convenient link.
- Open Analytics with a collaborator account that has Full Access. Review the proportion of views reaching each card and the relative time spent on it.
- Treat a drop-off or a long pause as a question to investigate. Did the reader need more context? Was the scope unclear? Ask in your follow-up rather than assuming you know why they paused.
- Improve the confusing section and test the explanation again. Keep a dated copy when you need a record of the exact commercial scope that was originally sent.
This turns a proposal into something you can learn from. Analytics do not prove purchase intent, and anonymous or private-browser visitors may appear as Anonymous Viewer. A downloaded PDF is not the same as a live Gamma viewing session for this purpose.
Start with these steps
Write the audience, desired decision and a short outline before generating anything. Supply your own verified content. Generate a compact first version, then edit the structure before spending credits on decorative images.
Set a consistent theme, check the mobile view, and test the sharing permissions with a separate browser session. Review an exported file as well if that is how the customer will receive it; do not assume it looks identical to the live version.
Usage and mistakes to avoid
AI actions draw on the available allowance, and different actions can consume different amounts. Check the usage screen before repeated regenerations or API automation. Use normal editing for small wording fixes when generation is unnecessary.
Do not publish invented testimonials, unsourced market figures or AI-generated product screenshots as though they were real. Keep presenter notes and private client context out of what you share. Custom-domain access does not include ownership of any domain you have not registered.
