Mobbin Team — Learn Product Design from Real Apps

Mobbin is basically a shortcut for the part of product design where you would otherwise install ten apps, create accounts, take screenshots and manually organise references just to answer one question: “How do good products already solve this?”

What it actually is

Mobbin is a searchable research library of real mobile-app and website interfaces, including individual screens, multi-step flows and animations from shipped products.

What you can actually do with it

  • Compare onboarding flows across several successful products.
  • Study how apps handle subscriptions, checkout, permissions, empty states, settings or account recovery.
  • Save references into collections for a particular feature or project.
  • Look at complete flows instead of judging UX from a single screenshot.
  • Share collections and comments with a design/product team.
  • Use Deep Search and MCP-supported workflows to make the library much easier to query from your broader design process.

Who it is good for

Mobbin is useful for UX/UI designers, product managers, founders, frontend developers and people learning product design.

If you are building a product and regularly find yourself searching Pinterest, Dribbble or random screenshots for “inspiration,” Mobbin is much more useful because the references come from real products and you can inspect the surrounding flow.

What this ShreeTools offer includes

  • Validity: 1 year.
  • Activation: coupon code redeemed on your own Mobbin account through the official checkout.
  • The Team plan is designed for one or more members; additional members and optional add-ons can create separate vendor charges.

How 1-Year Coupon Activation Works

The inside details that matter

Mobbin's current Team plan includes the Pro research features plus collaboration/admin capabilities such as:

  • access to apps, sites, flows and animations;
  • unlimited collections;
  • Deep Search;
  • MCP access;
  • copy/download and version-history features;
  • invite teammates;
  • shared collections, comments and mentions;
  • team management and centralized billing;
  • API access;
  • SOC 2 reports.

The current plan is billed per member by Mobbin. Optional products such as Finance+ are separate add-ons, so do not assume every Mobbin library/add-on is automatically part of the Team entitlement.

How I would start

  1. Pick one problem you are actually designing—for example, “first-time checkout” or “upgrade from free to paid.”
  2. Find 5–10 relevant products rather than collecting 100 random screens.
  3. Save the whole relevant flow into one collection.
  4. Note the repeated decisions: where pricing appears, what information is delayed, where confirmation happens, what errors look like.
  5. Only then sketch your own version around your users and constraints.

The “I didn’t know Mobbin could do that” move

Use MCP + Deep Search as a design-research layer for your AI workflow.

Instead of manually opening Mobbin every time and hunting through screenshots, use the supported MCP capability to bring Mobbin research into an AI-assisted product/design workflow. You can ask a much more useful question such as: “Show me real patterns for a B2B invite-members flow and help me compare the trade-offs,” then use those references while planning your own interface.

The important part is that the AI is not inventing every UX pattern from memory; you are grounding the discussion in examples from shipped products.

For a product team, shared collections make this even stronger: build a small reference library for one feature and have design, product and engineering discuss the same examples rather than everybody sending disconnected screenshots in chat.

What to avoid

  • Do not blindly reproduce another company's design, branding or proprietary assets.
  • Do not assume the most common pattern is automatically right for your users.
  • Do not add Team members casually without checking seat billing.
  • Do not assume optional libraries such as Finance+ are included in the base Team entitlement.
  • Do not collect inspiration endlessly. The point is to make a decision and build.
